It’s easy to look at biker culture as harmless and fun. Most riders are weekend warriors taking time off being lawyers, doctors, teachers (and cartoonists…) and enjoy the machinery and looking the sanitized Easy Rider part at the local artisanal, fair trade coffee shop.
I can’t put my finger on why exactly, but I feel certain that this group are unlikely to be profiled after the boorish behavior of the actual unpleasant bikers in Waco, TX.
