BACKGROUND
- Kenny, 65, of Glen Head, is a registered Democrat and is running on the Democratic, Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election.
- He was appointed Chief Clerk of the Appellate Term, Second Department in 2007, and since 1996 has been an adjunct professor in the Law & Paralegal Studies Department at CUNY New York City College of Technology.
- From 2000 to 2007, Kenny was Deputy Chief Court Attorney in Kings County.
- From 1988 to 1992, Kenny was in general practice and also served as co-counsel to the New York State Court Officer’s Association.
- He received a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University in 1982 and his law degree from CUNY Law School in 1986. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1987.
