BACKGROUND
- Blake, 68, of East Moriches, is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election.
- She has been a private practice attorney since 1985.
- Blake has been an adjunct professor at Suffolk County Community College teaching paralegal courses since 1986, and was an adjunct professor at SUNY Stony Brook, where she taught for three semesters before the pandemic began.
- She received her undergraduate degree from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 1978 and earned her law degree from Pace University, School of Law in 1983 and earned a doctorate in education from Dowling College in 2007.
- Blake was admitted to the New York State Bar and the Eastern and Southern districts of New York, both in 1984. She was admitted to the bar for the Supreme Court of the United States in 1995 and was admitted to the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in 1995.
