Joseph H. Lorintz is running for New York State Supreme Court Justice
Lorintz, 58, of Jericho, is running on the Democratic and Republican party lines. He has been the principal law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Randy Sue Marber since 2007. Before that, he had a private practice for 23 years. He received his bachelor’s degree from Queens College in 1979 and his law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 1982. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1983. Lorintz was also admitted to the bars of the Eastern District of New York in 1984; Northern and Southern Districts of New York in 1985; Western District of New York in 1986; United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit in 1987; United States Court of Appeals, District of Columbia in 1986; and the United States Court of Military Appeals in 1984. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association and the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association. Lorintz was a presiding tournament judge in 2008, 2009 2010, 2014 and 2015 for the New York State High School Mock Trial Tournament.
