Deborah Poulos is running for New York State Supreme Court Justice

Deborah Poulos, 62, of Dix Hills is running on the Conservative Party line. She has been a Suffolk County Family Court judge since 2014 after being elected in November 2013. From 1990-2013, Poulos was a family and matrimonial law trial attorney in her private practice Lefkowitz & Poulos in Hauppauge. Poulos graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University in 1981. She received a law degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1988. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1989. She was admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court Eastern District and the U.S. Court of Military Appeals in 1993. Poulos is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Family and Matrimonial Law section), the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association, and the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association. Poulos has been asked to lecture at several continuing legal education seminars.
