  • Messina, 60, of Holbrook, is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines.
  • Messina serves as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Islip since August 2018.
  • Messina is an attorney for the Sayville law firm of Messina Perillo Hill.
  • He is a former Islip Town attorney from 1993-2006.
  • Messina received his undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in 1985 and earned his law degree from Hofstra University Maurice A. Deane School of Law in 1989.
  • He was admitted to the New York State bar in 1989 and is the current president of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
