Howard E. Sturim

Sturim, 56, of Great Neck, is running on the Republican, Conservative, Independence and Reform lines and is endorsed by Tax Revolt in the general election. He has been the principal law clerk to acting State Supreme Court Justice Alan L. Honorof in Nassau County since 2004. From 1991 to 2004, he was assistant district attorney in Nassau County, where he was a member of the Major Offense Bureau, responsible for prosecuting homicides and high-profile cases. He received his undergraduate degree from the New York Institute of Technology in 1987 and his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1990. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1992.
