BACKGROUND:

Ricigliano, 59, of Garden City, is running on the Democratic, Republican and Conservative party lines.
He was elected to the Nassau County Court in 2014, and has served as an acting Supreme Court justice since 2015.
Ricigliano served as a Nassau County District Court judge from 1998-2000 and from 2002 to 2014.
He was a former legislative assistant to State Sen. Kemp Hannon from 1992-1999.
Ricigliano graduated from Manhattanville College in 1985 and earned his law degree from St. John's University Law School in 1988.
He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1989.
