BACKGROUND:
- Schulman, 38, of Woodmere, is running on the Democratic, Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election.
- He was appointed counsel to Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman earlier this year, and is based in Mineola.
- From 2013, until his appointment, he had been senior assistant district attorney in the appeals bureau at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn.
- Schulman received his bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva University in Manhattan in 2006 and earned his law degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2012.
- He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2013. Schulman is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.
- He is co-chair of Young Israel of Woodmere and a board member of the Yeshiva of the South Shore in Hewlett.
