BACKGROUND:
- Corrigan, 58, of New Hyde Park, is running on the Democratic, Republican, and Conservative party lines in the general election.
- She was elected a Nassau County Court judge in 2012 and later appointed supervising judge, beginning that role in 2018. She is also an acting State Supreme Court justice since the beginning of her term in 2013 and is an acting Surrogate's Court judge since 2022.
- Corrigan was assistant district attorney in the Street Narcotics, Gang and Gun Bureau in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office from February 2006 to August 2012.
- From 1989 to 2006, she had been an assistant district attorney for the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, where she earned the rank of executive assistant district attorney of the Gang Bureau.
- Corrigan received her bachelor of arts degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1986.
- She received her law degree from the New York Law School in 1989. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1990.
