BACKGROUND
- Coschignano, 60, of East Norwich, is running on the Republican, Democratic and Conservative party lines in the general election.
- He was elected a Nassau County District Court judge, serving the 4th District, in 2020.
- Prior to that, Coschignano was a partner in the Uniondale-based law firm Sahn Ward Coschignano PLLC.
- He was a councilman on the Oyster Bay Town Board from 2001 to 2017.
- Coschignano was counsel to the Town of Oyster Bay Zoning Board of Appeals from 1995 to 2001.
- He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from St. John’s University in 1985 and received his law degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1990. Coschignano was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1990.
