Sean Wright is running for Nassau County District Court Judge - 2nd District
BACKGROUND
- Wright, 55, of Valley Stream, is running on the Republican, Democratic and Conservative lines in the general election.
- Since 2022, he has been a prosecutor with the Nassau County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency.
- Wright was a principal law clerk for the Hon. Robert Bogle in Nassau County Court from 2015 to 2022.
- He has been a trustee of the Village of Valley Stream since 2016, was deputy mayor of the Village of Valley Stream from April 2019 to September 2020, and deputy village prosecutor for the Village of Valley Stream from 2008 to 2015.
- He was deputy town attorney for the Town of Hempstead from 2011 to 2015.
- Wright received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1991 and earned his law degree from CUNY Law School in 2002. He was admitted to the New York State bar, Appellate Division, 2nd Department in 2003.
