BACKGROUND
- Patricia M. Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick, 58, of Malverne, is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election.
- Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick is a lawyer specializing in trusts and estates. She was a trustee in the incorporated Village of Malverne for about seven years before being elected to the State Senate in 2022.
- She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a law degree from St. John’s University. She also has a master of law from New York University School of Law.
ISSUES
- On education, Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick said she supports a fully funded school budget and mental health specialists in schools.
