BACKGROUND:

• Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick, 57,  of Malverne, is a member of the Malverne village board. She is also running on the Conservative line. 
• Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick is president of the Steven McDonald Memorial Corporation, a nonprofit honoring a Malverne resident and New York City detective injured in the line of duty.
• Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick is a certified public accountant and an attorney specializing in trust and estates at the Canzoneri & Canzoneri law firm in Malverne.
• She earned a juris doctor law degree from St. John’s University in Jamaica, Queens, and a master's of law from New York University School of Law in Manhattan.

ISSUES:

• Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick said that if elected she would make it a top priority to revise the cashless bail legislation currently in place.
• She said that she would seek to repeal the New York City congestion pricing law, which she said “is penalizing Nassau County residents” who commute to the city.
• Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick said she supports parent rights in educating children.
