BACKGROUND

  • Hill, 39, of West Hempstead, is a registered Republican. He is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election. He is a lifelong resident of West Hempstead and a business analyst and project manager.
  • He is an active community leader and volunteer and has led initiatives in West Hempstead to clean up Halls Pond, close the Capri Motor Inn and have a traffic light installed at a dangerous intersection at Woodfield Road and Lindberg Street/Linden Street.
  • He is a member of Young Israel of West Hempstead.

 

ISSUES

  • Hill said he wants to hold the line on taxes and make Nassau County more affordable.
  • He wants to educate people about antisemitism and all forms of hate, increase penalties for hate crimes and boost police presence outside houses of worship.
  • Hill said he wants to work with the community to identify roads that need to be repaved and parks that need to be improved.
