MARIANN DALIMONTE

BACKGROUND:
- Dalimonte, 55, of Port Washington, was elected in 2019 and is running for a second term.
- She was executive director of the Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District.
- She said she is a fourth-generation Port Washington resident and has had leadership roles at such community organizations as the Paul D. Schreiber High School Home & School Association, the Port Washington Adult Activities Center and the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce.
ISSUES:
- Dalimonte said she is running for reelection “because I genuinely care about our community” and that she has “a proven track record of accomplishments” and is “committed to being a strong advocate who gets things done for District 6 residents.”
- She said she is dedicated “to protecting and enhancing our community’s beaches, parks and waterways, maintaining our area’s natural beauty and ensuring it remains a wonderful place to live and raise a family.”
- She said that if reelected, she would prioritize “safeguarding our homes and roads from stormwater flooding.”
