BACKGROUND:
- Rosario, 48, of Wheatley Heights, is running on the Democratic and Conservative party lines. He has been senior assistant town attorney for Babylon since 2020.
- From 2002 to 2019, Rosario held positions at the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County, including chief supervising attorney for their Children’s Law Bureau, chief of compliance, and staff attorney in the Society’s Criminal Defense Bureau.
- From 2014 to 2016, he was compliance director for ROTHCO in Ronkonkoma. From 1995 to 2017 he served in the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring after 22 years with the rank of Major.
- He earned his law degree from the City University of New York School of Law in 2001 and received his Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York College at Cortland in 1995.
- Rosario was admitted to the New York State bar in 2002.
- He is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Amistad Long Island Black Bar Association and the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association.
