ISSUES
- Scianablo said he wants to bring fiscal transparency and accountability to Hempstead through audits of town finances and operations that explain to taxpayers how their money is being spent.
- He said the town should reduce the number of flyers it sends out and residents should be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.
- Scianablo said the town should attract redevelopment at the Hub that focuses on housing as well as research and education in science and medicine rather than a casino.
