BACKGROUND
- Blumencranz, 28, is running on the Republican Party line and is seeking reelection to a second term. He is an insurance professional who has promised to represent younger voters on Long Island.
- He worked for the Nassau County District Court before winning election to the Assembly in 2022.
- Blumencranz graduated from Rice University in Houston, where he majored in public policy and religious studies, and then earned a master’s degree in regional urban planning and economic development at the London School of Economics.
