Frank Black
Frank Black is running for Suffolk County Legislator, 13th District - Republican
BACKGROUND

- He spent 12 years as a shop steward representing fellow department workers in union negotiations.
- Black is a martial arts instructor and is owner-operator of Frank Black's School of Isshinryu Karate, which he opened in 1988.

ISSUES
- Black said he believes overdevelopment is a problem across the county, particularly in the Town of Smithtown. "It's gotten insane," he said.
- He cited a proposed $220 million luxury housing project in Kings Park that requires a zoning change as a concern, saying, "By changing the zoning, the density becomes unreasonable and it opens Pandora’s box for two other parcels near that project."
- Black said he's a proponent of term limits in elected office.
