Daniel J. Norber is running for New York State Assembly - 16th District
BACKGROUND
- Norber, 44, of Great Neck, is running on the Republican Party line in the general election. This is his first bid for elective office. He is cofounder of Imperial Moving, a transport company that he said has created thousands of jobs.
- Norber was raised in Israel and served in the Israel Defense Forces. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in government, diplomacy and strategy from Reichman University in Israel.
ISSUES
- Norber said he is focused on bringing down crime and would try to repeal cashless bail.
- He said he wants to help lower the state’s debt. “As a business owner, I would never be able to run my business the way the state is running its finances,” he said.
- Norber said he wants to combat antisemitism across the state.
