BACKGROUND

  • Grossman, 59, of Hampton Bays, is running on the Democratic and Conservative party lines in the general election.
  • He has been a Southampton Town justice since the town board appointed him to the position in November 2023.
  • Grossman has been in private practice since 1993 and maintains an office in Riverhead. He specializes in real estate, estate practice Surrogate’s Court, civil litigation, zoning, business law and estate planning (wills and trusts).
  • In 2002, he was appointed to the Southampton Town Zoning Board of Appeals. Grossman was appointed in 2010 as the vice chairman of the board and later was the chairperson from February 2017 to November 2023.
  • He was the Riverhead Town attorney in 1998 and 1999. During that time, Grossman was special prosecutor for town code violations.
  • Grossman received his undergraduate degree from Dowling College in Oakdale in 1987 and earned his law degree from Pace University School of Law in 1991. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1993.
