No
No is running for Statewide proposition
Proposal One, An Amendment
The proposal would amend the state Constitution to allow new Nordic ski and biathlon trails in the Adirondack forest preserve. Development in the preserve requires constitutional permission. The trails would be part of the Olympic sports complex in North Elba, Essex County. The project would involve up to 323 acres, and the state would buy 2,500 acres of land to add to the preserve as an offset. The New York State Legislature must approve the offset.
A “YES” vote will allow new trails in the Adirondack forest preserve and the purchase of acreage to expand the preserve.
A “NO” vote will prevent any development or expansion.
