BACKGROUND

  • LaMarca, 61, of Oyster Bay, is a registered Republican and is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election. He is seeking a fourth term.

  • He was elected town clerk in 2019. 
  • He graduated from Villanova University in 1986 and received an MBA from St. John’s University in 1992.

  ISSUES

  • LaMarca said he is focused on continuing to digitize the town’s marriage, death and birth records.

  • He said he wants to continue passport and marriage license weekends to increase convenience for residents.

  • He said he has worked to save money in the town clerk office by cutting staff while continuing necessary services.
