BACKGROUND:
- Ganley, 26, is single and lives in Cutchogue. He is also running on the Conservative Party line.
- He graduated from the University of Scranton with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and worked in the office of Rep. Lee Zeldin for two years.
- Ganley has also worked as a political consultant, including as campaign manager for Nick LaLota's successful primary for a congressional seat.
- He's endorsed by the Suffolk PBA and other police unions.
ISSUES:
- Ganley supports a referendum to create an affordable-housing fund for four East End towns.
- He says he’ll work to see bail reform repealed to help stem violent crime in the state.
- And he plans to address “rampant corruption” in state politics by placing restrictions on those who do business with the state who are also campaign donors.
