BACKGROUND

  • Zaleski, 52, of Riverhead, is a registered Republican and is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election. He is running unopposed. His priorities include paving roads and upgrading drainage systems, but Zaleski said he also wants to enhance a satellite highway yard in Wading River to protect equipment and better prepare for storms.
