• She formerly worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee  as a research scientist.  
• She currently operates a consulting firm for medical research application review for active-duty military members.

ISSUES

• Perry-Hyland is focused on affordability, especially relating to the need for new housing options.
• She will work to protect local water and air by nurturing public land and expanding sewers. 
• She pledges to ensure that veterans get the quality support and services they earned.
