BACKGROUND

  • Lew, 42, of East Hills, is a registered Democrat and is running on the Democratic Party line in the general election. 
  • He owns the Paris Baguette bakery in Edison, New Jersey, a business he took over three years ago after spending 15 years as a project manager on Wall Street for various investment banks and technology startups. 
  • Lew graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. 

 

ISSUES

  • Lew said he wants to implement technology to make the clerk office’s processes more efficient.
  • He said he would be a conduit between the community and the town board to improve transparency and accessibility. 
  • Lew said he wants to establish clear service standards for the role and bring improved accountability and empathy.
