Ernest R. Wruck

Wruck, 63, of Eastport, is running on the Republican Party line. He is a partner with the law firm of Wruck & Wallace LLP in Patchogue, specializing in estate administration, estate planning and estate litigation. He has been an attorney for the public administrator of Suffolk County since 2006. He earned a bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University in 1976 and received his law degree in 1979 from Valparaiso School of Law. In 1980, he was admitted to the New York State Bar, Second Judicial Department and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of New York. He worked as a law assistant to the Suffolk County Surrogate’s Court in Riverhead from 1980 to 1983. Wruck is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, where he served as chairman on the Surrogate’s Court Committee from 1985 to 1986. He is also a member of the Suffolk Academy of Law and New York State Bar Association.
