Meet the 2016 Mets

The Mets reached World Series in 2015 for the first time in 15 years but lost in five games to the Kansas City Royals.

In the years since their previous World Series appearance in 2000 against the Yaneees, there have been late-season collapses as well as all-around bad teams. But in 2015, the years of drafting high, rebuilding and tweaking the roster paid off for the Mets and their fans. In 2016, they’ll look to build off that after making some upgrades. This interactive will help explain how all 25 parts of this roster came to arrive in New York. Use the dropdown menus to sort by position, how players were acquired and which general manager was responsible for getting that player to New York.
