Raises and promotions in Town of Hempstead
The outgoing administration in the Town of Hempstead approved resolutions transferring or giving promotions or raises to more than 190 workers on Dec. 12, 2017. Here are links to each of the resolutions voted on, spelling out their new pay and whatever position changes are involved. Only two of these resolutions were rejected: for Matthew Coleman and Theresa Gaffney.
Also in the table are their titles, departments, base pay and total earnings in 2016, which were the latest available to Newsday and which includes overtime. The table is arranged in descending order from the highest-paid to lowest total pay for the employuees in 2016. Seven workers were not on the payroll in 2016, and some who were may have received raises or promotions in 2017 that are not reflected here. You can read more about the Hempstead vote here.
