Santia Williams 911 Calls
Santia Williams and her family made a dozen 911 calls asking police to intervene in disputes between Williams and her ex-boyfriend Jason Jenkins. Eleven of those calls were made in the first half of 2011 and six were made after Williams obtained a restraining order against Jenkins on June 28. Two weeks later, Jenkins shot and killed Williams before taking his own life. An internal police report found that several officers failed in their duty when responding to the calls.
