Trump’s pivot

Conventional campaigning wisdom dictates a rush to the political center once hardcore partisan delegates have been placated. On this score, the problem with Trump is he’s a watery smorgasbord of ideologies so it’d be hard to gauge any shifts. And his chief guiding principle – the child-like playground taunting of rivals – shows no sign of being abandoned.
