High tide

Results of a study commissioned by the Long Island Association indicate the people of the region, like the rest of the U.S., are rapidly exiting the middle toward either the top or bottom of the income/class scale. In other words, it underscores that pesky income inequality problem that certain politicians insist isn’t an issue.
