Cicale, 47, of East Islip, is running on the Republican, Conservative, Green, Reform and Independence party lines in the general election. Cicale has been town attorney for the Town of Islip since January 2012 and also briefly served in that position from June 2007 to March 2008. He has been a private practice attorney since 1998. Cicale also worked as a Legal Aid Society staff attorney from 1993 to 1998 and in 2010, and was principal law clerk for Judge Stephen Behar in 2011. He received a bachelor of arts degree from Le Moyne College in 1990 and a law degree from St. John's University in 1993. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1994. He is currently a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and a former member of the Suffolk County Criminal Bar Association's board of directors.
