Robert F. Kozakiewicz is running for Riverhead Town Justice

Robert F. Kozakiewicz

Kozakiewicz, 58, of Riverhead, is running on the Reform Party line. He is the town attorney for Riverhead, a position he was appointed to in 2011. Kozakiewicz was in private practice from 2004 to 2010 and from 1998 to 1999. While in private practice, he mainly handled zoning, land use and residential real estate matters. From 2000 to 2003 he was town supervisor for the Town of Riverhead. Kozakiewicz was town attorney for Riverhead from 1994 to 1998. Before that, he was an associate in the Law Office of Peter S. Danowski Jr. in Riverhead from 1983 to 1993. Kozakiewicz received his bachelor of arts degree in political science from Marist College in 1975 and his law degree from Albany Law School in 1983. He was admitted to the New York State Bar Association in 1983 and U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York, in 1990. He is a member of the American Bar Association.
