Krupnick said he wants to make downtown Riverhead thrive again, get the town back on sound financial footing and begin leasing land at EPCAL to generate more income. "We have to get our financial house in order -- the town has been living well beyond its means. What's needed is an accountability audit to make sure everything's running efficiently. The emergency for the town is getting more money."
Krupnick, 55, of Riverhead, is running on the Democratic, Working Families and Women's Equality lines. He is owner/operator of Loop TV & Film Inc., a television and film production company. He is making his first run for public office. Krupnick has a bachelor's degree in communication arts: radio, TV & film from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is married.
