Jason Kontzamanys is running for Brookhaven town superintendent of highways

"My goals as Brookhaven Highway Superintendent, is to completely transform and modernize this entire department. This includes raising the morale of the union workforce in order to increase worker productivity," he said on his campaign website.

Kontzamanys, 45, is running on the Democratic line. He is from Port Jefferson Station. He graduated from Comsewogue High School in 1988. He graduated from Dowling College with a liberal arts degree and earned a master's degree from the college in education in 2013. He is single.
