Day 3 of the Republican National Convention will feature several high-profile elected officials who support the president.
Vice President Mike Pence will formally accept the nomination as President Trump’s running mate. His wife, Karen Pence, also will speak.
Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-Shirley) will speak and said he will strike a positive tone, focusing on the theme of ‘service.’
Rep. Elise Stefanik of upstate New York, another Trump supporter in the House, will speak as well.
White House adviser Kellyanne Conway will speak on the theme of ‘everyday heroes.’ She will be leaving her post next week.
The president’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump, a senior campaign adviser, will become the latest Trump family member to speak.
Former NFL player Jack Brewer is on the schedule.
U.S. Senators Marsha Blackburn (pictured) and Joni Ernst will address the convention.
And South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, hailed by the GOP for her hands-off approach to the coronavirus pandemic, also will speak.
