Raises for nonunion county workers
A total of 1,085 full-time nonunion Nassau and Suffolk employees, including elected officials, received raises last year totaling $6.7 million. The raises, some of them tied to promotions, averaged $6,212, and the district attorney's office topped the list of departments in each county for total raise amounts.
